Outlook Express Address Book
Do you use Outlook Express for your main e-mail program?
If
you do, I'm sure you also use the Address Book feature
that
comes along with it, right? It's the easiest way to store
all of your contact information. To add an entry to the OE
Address Book, just go to Tools, Address Book, New, New
Contact and fill in the information).
Once you have your Address Book up and running, it's
probably safe to say that every once in awhile, you have
to
go in and update an entry. Maybe one of your contacts got
a
new e-mail address or maybe someone moved to a different
home address, etc. Whatever the case may be, you have to
go
in and change the information around. So, what's the
quickest way to do that?
Open Outlook Express and go to Tools, Address Book. Find
an
entry that you need to update and just double click it.
Once you do that, the Properties window will pop right up
and you can go through the different tabs and change the
information as needed. Now, with the old way, you had to
open up your Address Book, right click on an entry, choose
Properties, etc., etc. But now, there's no more extra
clicking for you. This is, hands down, the easiest way to
update your Address Book.

headline, of your solo ads?
You are probably competing with hundreds, and often
thousands, of other emails in a person's inbox. You've
only
got a few seconds to grab their attention and get them to
open yours.
Your subject line is the most important part of your ad.
Don't use jargon and steer clear of posing questions where
the reader's answer might be no, eg "Don't YOU Want A
Holiday In The Bahamas?" - rhetorical questions are ok!
You could use free offers, statistics, testimonials,
guarantees and warnings to entice readers into opening

Finding Scrapbooking Stickers

I have found over the years that an easy and fun way to
spice up a scrapbook page is by using <a
href="http://free-scrapbooking-
ideas.blogspot.com/2008/06/finding -scrapbooking-
stickers.html">scrapbooking stickers</a>. They can really
help put that special edge on your layout. Use them to
help plug small holes or place stickers on top of other
stickers for a neat layered look. Any way you look at it
scrapbooking stickers are a cheap and effective way to
really bring home your scrapbooking theme.
Like any scrapbooker worth her salt, I have tons of extra
stickers lying about. These things tend to gather without
much thought. Spread them out and let your inner
creativity
run wild. It helps to have a large open space to really
get
a good look at them. I like to use my kitchen table for
this purpose. Don't be afraid to cut them up to better mix
and match them.
A good, cheap place to find loads of stickers is at $0.98
stores. I would hope that you have these in your area.
They
are a blessing when it comes to scrapbooking supplies. I
have found the neatest random items. It also helps if you
constantly check their inventory as the ones near my home
tend to go through stock pretty quickly.
Thrift stores, for me, have been a continual source of
unique scrapbooking stickers. Most thrift stores have a
books section and within the books section there is a kids
section. Look for old sticker books. The kind where there
is an insert of stickers to paste on the various pages.
Sometimes you can find the most wonderful old style
stickers. I've found some styles that you simply can't
find
these days.
It goes without saying that your local craft store is a
great source of cheap and plentiful scrapbooking stickers.
Check the clearance bin and snatch them up when you find
them. Make sure to have a stash for a rainy day. You never
know when creativity will strike you.
Another cheap and easy method for procuring stickers is
through the use of magazines. Everyone has old magazines
lying about. Ask people at your work or your neighbors.
It's a great green way of reusing items that would
otherwise be trash. Use the advertisements as backdrops
for
your pages. Magazines print in glossy, full color pages
and
the funky graphics will give your layout that special
touch. I like to use spray adhesive to attach my magazine
pictures to my pages. A glue stick will work in a pinch
though I always hate the way the picture tends to wrinkle
when it's completely dry.
A method I have not personally tried is searching online
for stickers. I must warn you though that many (many!)
sites are only out to get your personal information. Make
sure to have an old abandoned email address ready to
enter.
No use in filling your email inbox full of spam. Also,
some
companies want your mailing address so be careful who you
choose to give your info to. To find these free stickers
simply Google "free stickers" then search around.
